This Librarian’s Saturday

This morning my eyes popped open at 4:30am, as they too often do. So far this morning I have:

  • Checked the State Agency Database Project’s Alaska and Arizona pages for broken links.
  • Worked on the “world of business” section of my manuscript’s “Fictional Home and Work Life.” – Ask me what a reasonable salary for a buyer’s agent is.
  • Read too many political blogs for my own good.

The rest of my day:

  • 9am haircut (my bimonthly ritual)
  • Go into the office to try and finalize my “free video resources for library programming” presentation for the Alaska Library Association Conference in Valdez, Alaska.
  • Lunch, perhaps with a friend
  • Spend three hours with a colleague continuing to catalog the library of the Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
  • Some kind of break
  • Try to spend some time with my android tablet creating screenshots for another of my presentations at AkLA.

What are you doing today?
