The ALA is updating our embedabble slideshow, 60 Ways to Use Your Library Card, created for last year’s Library Card Sign-up Month event.

The success of the project last year (over 230,000 pageviews) was largely due to the great pictures that libraries from across the country sent in, so we’re asking for your help again.

This year we want to emphasize community engagement and e-books in libraries.

We welcome any great photos and/or suggestions, but have a particular need for images of patrons using e-readers and events of all sorts including, but not limited to, Friends of the Library events, fundraisers and civic engagement events.

We will make sure to credit your library and/or the photographer.  Please send photos to jcarmichael@ala.org.

I look forward to the new slideshow!  Please pass this on…

Sounds fun. Pass it on.
